Since 1922 the BIBLE READING FELLOWSHIP has brought the Scriptures to many believers and many enquirers. The Diocesan Office is a local distribution point for the BRF’s various Bible study booklets

 

NEW DAYLIGHT offers a fresh, devotional approach to Bible reading. It contains a Bible passage, a comment and a short prayer or reflection for each day. It provides four months of daily Bible readings and comment and is published every January, May and September. It is ideal for anybody seeking an accessible yet stimulating aid to spending time with God each day. It provides an easy and practicable way to deepen faith and improve knowledge of the Scriptures. Each booklet can have up to ten different writers, covering a range of views regarding the Christian faith.

DAY BY DAY WITH GOD – Rooting Women’s Lives in the Bible  is a booklet with daily readings: a printed Bible passage, explained and applied especially for women, by women who have themselves found the Bible a source of strength and inspiration for life. A suggested daily prayer or meditation, plus further readings to explore, will help connect the daily readings to each woman’s journey of faith.

GUIDELINES – Bible study for today’s ministry and mission offers in-depth study and comment, covering biblical books and themes. The daily readings are arranged in weekly sections, each including an introduction and points for thought and prayer. Published every four months this booklet enables all its readers to interpret and apply the biblical text with confidence in today’s world, while helping to equip church leaders as they meet the challenges of mission and disciple-building.
